I have had two clients try to use GoDaddy for two different PHP applications: SilverStripe CMS and Magento Commerce. GoDaddy's service did not work for either. It is very basic service with little configuration control, and should be used for simple sites only. I am a web developer. The name I wanted a .com was not available but I could get on a waiting list or pick a new one. I have used it for my business for awhile now. I am all about customer service and their tech support people know what they are talking about. As a new business owner, I did not have to spend a lot of money on my domain. They have saved me so much time and money. I would reccomend this to anyone. goDaddy.com is great.
